Reading is very important for building vocabulary and for developing a fealing for English.

 

Read some English every day. If you are finding books and articles too difficult then read comic books (you can find some comic books on my reading resources link page). They are very good at teaching language. You read three or four sentences and you have a picture to look at to help you understand them.

Choose a book, newspaper, comic book or magazine that you find interesting, and read at least a page a day, it will not feel so bad.


Chose a book with modern language. Shakespear and Dickens can wait, right now you should be reading Crime Thrillers or Science Fiction etc. I give some advice on which books are good here.
