We have years of experience in bookshops both in the UK and abroad and we wanted to provide a list of books that would be useful to anybody wanting to learn the German Language
The most important thing to do is read German every day.Reading is very important for building vocabulary and for developing a fealing for German.

If you are finding books and articles too difficult then read comic books

Choose a book, newspaper, comic book or magazine that you find interesting, and reading at least a page a day will not feel so bad.

Chose a book with modern language. Goeth can wait, right now you should be reading Crime Thrillers or Science Fiction etc.

The most important thing is that you enjoy it, that way it will happen more often.

Look up words in a dictionary like Leo

or buy an electronic translator with a big word list. (I have a Franklin professor pro which cost about 75 pounds. Thats a lot of money but looking up words is a lot faster than flipping through a paper dictionary.)

It is not easy to find a book about German grammar that I am 100% happy about, but this is the one I am reading at the moment, and it's cheap.
